| Several
years ago, I created a character who (behind my back) began writing
clever, humorous rhymes focusing on grown-up life. That character was
Dr Goose. I inadvertantly created him while writing a poem about a little boy who got teased alot due to a physical deformity. (based on my experiences growing up with red hair). |
My short poem soon took on a life of it's own, and for a few years, led me down paths I hadn't expected. It ultimately became an epic poem spanning nearly twenty pages. "The Story of Dr Goose" tells the tale of how this odd man came to be, and how he came to realize that grown-ups need nursery rhymes more than children. |
